Light Sources: SCHOTT-FOSTEC, LLC offers DC-regulated halogen light sources for the Machine Vision market and AC halogen light sources for Microscopy and Machine Vision markets, depending on your application requirements. Inlcuded in this is the DCR Series, the ACE series and the Schott KL series.
Backlights: When you need uniform, diffuse illumination for applications such as inspection, imaging, and machine vision, the natural choice is FOSTECŪ backlights. They can be used for opaque material inspection, edge detection, or as a diffuse light source. Plus, w/ their high durability & very low profile - typically under 1” (25.4 mm) - their backlights are very adaptable to small mechanical packages.
Goosenecks: When your applications demand obedient, incident illumination within minimal available space, the answer is a SCHOTT-FOSTEC gooseneck. Schott Fostec offers basic goosenecks in single and dual models, and combination assemblies of goosenecks & flexible bundles. Both Schott and FOSTECŪ goosenecks are available as standard products. All of their gooseneck products can be modified to meet your unique design requirements.
Light Lines: Uniform lines of light are critical for machine vision and inspection system applications. SCHOTT-FOSTEC fiber optic lightlines [1” (25.4 mm) to 16” (406.4 mm)] with optional lenses and polarizer kits provide the uniformity you need. When you require a longer lightline, Schott Fostec offer their patented spatially randomized lightlines in 24” and 40” (609.6 mm to 1016 mm) standard sizes and can custom build other sizes up to approximately 100” (2540 mm).
Ring Lights: SCHOTT-FOSTEC ringlights provide high intensity, uniform, & shadow-free illumination in a compact ring configuration. For your ease of use, our unique clamping systems allow the ringlights to fit most microscopes & camera objectives without the use of adapters. Choose from a range of sizes for an optimum fit. Accessories include color filters, polarizers, analyzers, diffusers, and reflector rings. Modifications & custom configs. can be made to the ringlights to meet your unique design specifications. Both Schott and FOSTECŪ ringlights are available as standard products.
Bundles: When your application requires versatility in routing & positioning of light, flexible bundles are the answer. Choose from single, dual, or quad configurations in a variety of active input fiber diameters and overall assembly lengths. Both Schott and FOSTECŪ bundles are available as standard products. All of their bundle products can be modified to meet your unique design requirements.
