605 Video Contrast Enhancer : The Model 605 provides real-time contrast expansion, shading correction, and inversion. The contrast enhancement function improves visibility of low contrast features by stretching a selectable portion of the input video's grayscale to fill a larger gray scale range at the output. Those portions of the grayscale not selected for stretching are compressed so that the overall video amplitude remains unchanged.

606G Video Quantizer : The Quantizer synthesizes a real-time color picture based on different shades of gray in a monochrome input signal. Eight threshold controls can be set to "slice" the input signal, and eight sets of Red, Green, and Blue color controls vary the color for each slice level. The 606G provides an excellent means of visualizing small differences in contrast by adding color to an otherwise monochrome image.

650 Video Inverter : The Video Inverter converts a negative image to a positive, or vice versa. It is helpful for determining how a film negative will appear before printing the negative on photographic paper.

675 Automatic Gain Control : The Automatic Gain Control provides a consistent video output level given varying levels of input. It can set gain in either of two ways. To correct for problems caused by cameras operating in adverse conditions, the gain can be automatically set based on video (excluding sync) amplitude. Alternatively, to correct for calibration or transmission problems, gain can be automatically set based on sync amplitude. Internal controls allow adjustment of response times and output level.
